Skye Properties is an industrial development company headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand. The two directors, Hagen Gibbes and Simon Laird, possess extensive expertise with over 25 years of experience each in orchestrating the development of substantial industrial and commercial properties.

 

Hagen's foundation lies in construction, having honed his skills as a Quantity Surveyor and collaborating with some of New Zealand's most prominent construction entities. On the other hand, Simon's background in Logistics and Supply Chain spans globally, influencing enterprises like FedEx and DHL. His skills lie in formulating and realizing extensive logistics hubs, complemented by his execution of automation advancements.

 

Unified in their purpose, The dynamic duo that is Skye Properties- steers their efforts towards cultivating greenfield sites into large projects and advancing facilities across New Zealand. Their primary focus revolves around enhancing road and rail transportation infrastructure while strengthening the integral logistics establishments that complement these pivotal transportation channels.

We also expertly handle development structures, funding requests, and contract formation, while assembling a highly competent team of consultants to address all planning requirements.

With a wealth of experience, our expertise covers the entire project lifecycle, from inception to completion. We specialize in initial analysis, conceptual design, cost management, funding options, and comprehensive project delivery, including final handover and subsequent property management.

 Skye Properties' development partnership is committed to managing property developments holistically, from inception to successful operation. Our responsibilities encompass key areas such as land acquisition, feasibility budgeting, cost management, risk assessment, funding assistance, project control, consultant design team formation, and efficient management and design consents. We oversee infrastructure, including investigative scope design and procurement, as well as construction, plant, and equipment procurement. Our dedication extends to seamless fit-out completion, occupation, and smooth transitions into property and facility management.
